I haven't done a journal in a while, so I thought I'd get back into it!
First of all I want to pay tribute to the late, great Adam West. He introduced a whole generation to Batman, and many, many people remember him as their first experience with the character. He was the OG, the Bright Knight, and he perfectly embodied the campy and fun nature of the early comics that we've come to love. The show was way before my time, but my generation got to know Mr. West through his fantastic comedic voiceover talent and his ability to parody himself, as Catman in The Fairly OddParents and Mayor Adam West in Family Guy. I even watched Return to the Batcave when I was younger. Over the years he's been such a good sport about coming back to the Batman franchise, and having recently watched Return of the Caped Crusaders and having a lot of fun with it, it made the news sadder. R.I.P. Adam West, you will never be forgotten.
